           The APs Matthew Barakat reports that former United States Consular official, Gons G. Nachman, 42, was found guilty of sex with minors and possession of child pornography in Federal Court in Alexandria, Virginia.

            Nachman, well known advocate of Nudism as a life style, admitted to having sex when he worked in the American Embassies in the Democrat Republic of Congo and Brazil. The girls were between the ages of 13 and 17 years old.Nachman made video and photograpic records of the events. In a letter to Judge Gerald Bruce Lee, Nachman defended his actions by saying in some cultures "girls matured more quickly." and it was o.k. to have sex with them.

          United States Attorney Ron Walutes countered saying, "Children in the Democratic Republic of the Congo have the same inherent value as a child in the United States."

           Nachman is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania Law School. The prosecution is looking for a 20 year sentence. Sentencing is set for August 27.
