    Oxen are really big animals. I bet they weigh close to a ton.
    They have horns and sharp hooves and nasty teeth which could
    do a lot of damage.

    And yet they labor all day in the hot sun, in the fields, pulling
    ploughs, carrying burdens for humans, turning water wheels. They could
    easily kill or maime any human. Imagine what a whole gang of them could do?
 

    History was made today. John McCain, the Republican candidate for

President of the United States, chose as his running mate the Governor of Alaska.

She is a woman . Her name is Sarah Palin  and she is only the second woman to

run on a major party ticket for the second most powerful office in the nation.

    Here is my worry. The good ole boys, which includes the mass media, such as
 

    Her name is Sister Meena. She is a young woman in her thirties. She is a Roman Catholic nun who has dedicated
her life to serving orphans in India. She is an Indian. Last week in her home town of Bubaneshwar she was attacked by a mob of
fanatical Hindu fundamentalists. She was beaten up and gang raped by dozens of Hindu men.
She was "lucky" because she is still alive. Her sister Sister was burned to death protecting the orphans they both loved.

ENOUGH ALREADY!

     Whether you agree with her, disagree with her. Love her or hate her it is time to

     step up and speak out about the treatment of Michelle Malkin, South jersey girl

     turned columnist,at the DNC in Denver.

     Malkin, who measures 5 foot nothing and weighs about the same as a double
    
     Quarter pounder with cheese, was visciously attacked by a crowd of predominantly
 

         "You've come a long way baby!"

         On this the anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment
         how true is that?

         No one can deny that in the United States of America women have better
 

         What's dumb, not funny and irrelevant ? 
         Oh and did I say DUMB?

         The answer of course is :   ROSEANNE BARR.

         Truth be told I never understood why she was so popular.
         I never thought she was funny.
         I always thought she was crude and on top of all that she is "coyote ugly".
 

At the last minute she held the bill enough damage having been done
for the time being.
        She supported No Child Left Behind and the Patriot Act.
        She opposed allowing the display of the Ten Commandments in courtrooms.

        Her biggest, and only, real accomplishment was the passage of a new federal minimum wage but even that
was marred with ugliness. It seems Mrs. Pelosi made sure that one of the biggest companies in her district, Del
 

      John Edwards, the son of a mill worker, who made a gazillion dollars as a trial lawyer suing mostly hospitals and doctors for malpractice, decided he would be a fabulous president of the United States. So he ran for the job - twice.
Once he even ran as the vice-presidential candidate on the Democrats ticket. He lost but tried again and ultimately acted as the spoiler in a threeway race among Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama and himself. He and Hillary appealed to the same voters so he effectively kept her from winning the nomination. That would not have happened if the media elites had not suppressed the story of his marital infidelity and putative siring of a baby girl with a campaign staffer. So why did they suppress the story? For a variety of reasons none of which involved unwillingness to delve into salacious matters. First they did not want Hillary to beat Obama. Exposing Edwards would have boosted Clinton's chances. Second , and this happens over and over, women are treated with the utmost contempt and disregard by the media in a way that men, especially non majority group men, are not. Let's go down the line and repeat the mantra.
 

      Happy smiley faces, great special effects, and cute little girls 'faux singing" - it's the Olympics in China. Meanwhile in Darfur ........
       the other face of China is not so smiley. China protecting its oil interests  blindly backs the brutal, Jihadist regime that runs the Sudan which includes Darfur. This regime, protected by China, promotes the wholesale rape of women and girls as they leave refugee camps to gather fire wood. Men who leave for this task are killed outright. China- a permanent member of the U.N. Security Council - blocks every attempt to punish Sudan. The rabid jihadist Arab tribesmen who commit these atrocities are carrying weapons supplied by the People Republic of China - Communist China. China enables the rape and genocide of hundreds of thousands of Sudanese women and girls. The Peacekeepers do nothing to stop it either through lack of strength or will. It does not really matter to the victims. They suffer daily and China bears a great deal of the blame for this suffering . But the Hollywood production that is the Beijing Olympics pays no attention - keep watching and admiring the "great leap forward," back to the future.
